Adult- type hypertrophic pyloric stenosis in a 3 years and 10 months old boy

Abstract
|

|
A case of the adult-type hypertrophic pyloric stenesis in a child is presented for its rarity. The patient was a 3 10/12 year old boy with the complaints of epigastric pain and vomiting, for 20 days.
Laparotomy was done under the clinical diagnosis of the adult type hypertrophic pyloric stenosis and Billorth I partial gastrectomy was done. Pathological diagnosis, was compatable with second-ary form in adult type hypertrophic pyloric stenosis.
A brief summary of literatures were reviewed.
